Nepal Buddhist federation strong concern has drowned by brutal action of Buddha’s Image on Shoes by American Company named Icon Shoe Design based in Palm Desert, California. Lord Buddha is worshiped by billions of Buddhist people, also respected by non Buddhist and non believer people around the world as well. The Buddha's message of non violence, harmony and compassion is being more relevant at present time than in the Buddha's life time. This kind of brutal action hurt all Buddha’s follower’s faith, feeling and sentiments all over the world. Therefore we strongly condemn and have objection to the Icon Shoe Design Company. We pay our attention and request not to repeat again this kind of brutal action near in future which hurt billions of Buddhist people’s sentiments and faith. “Learn respect to other, you will be respected by others too.” Nepal Buddhist Federation
